‘Rebel Moon’ premieres the first preview of its second part that arrives on Netflix in April

Rebel Moon Part 2 Scargiver

At the end of December 2023, the first of two parts of ‘Rebel Moon‘ arrived on Netflix, the latest from director Zack Snyder who had worked for several years with Netflix. The project, which at that time was intended to be a kind of “Star Wars” franchise start, failed to win over critics, although Netflix users did give it their support with their audience figures.

In any case, it was a two-part event, with the second, titled ‘Rebel Moon (Part Two): The Warrior Who Leaves Marks’ with a premiere announced for April 19.
And since we are already a month away from this launch, it was time for the first trailer to finally arrive to warm up the mood.

As had become abundantly clear by the end of Part One, war was near. After eliminating some members of her party and opposing the Empire once and for all, Kora (Sofia Boutella) will lead the rebels towards a massive resistance that will bring down the ruling entity of the galaxy.

Official Synopsis:

The Warrior Who Leaves Marks resumes the epic saga of Kora and the warriors who have survived. At this point, they are willing to sacrifice everything and fight with the brave inhabitants of Veldt to defend what was once a peaceful village and is now a new home for those who lost theirs in the fight against Homeworld. On the eve of battle, the warriors confront their own past and reveal their reason for fighting. As the full force of the Kingdom falls on the budding rebellion, unbreakable bonds are forged, heroes emerge, and legends are born.

Sofía Boutella affected by the criticism of the first installment

Sofia Boutella, the main star of ‘Rebel Moon’, recently confessed how much the criticism of the first installment affected her. Although her performance for some was the most redeeming part of the film, the criticism that Snyder’s work received made her feel in some way “responsible.” This is what she said in dialogue with Vulture:

“I always thought that she was prepared to receive those blows, but when I read the criticism that Rebel Moon received, it affected me a lot. I’m going to be honest about it. I feel like I carry it for everyone who cared so much about this project, and that’s what affected me. Not the way I look. In any case, I have been quite lucky and people like my work in it, but the film was criticized.”
